The dissolution of two different forms of magnesium (magnesium citrate and magnesium oxide) in the aqueous humor and in the acidic gastric mucosa was investigated. In addition, the level of residual magnesium in the urine, which indicates the level of magnesium in the blood, was also examined. It was found that magnesium citrate is much more soluble in water.
